About Bamboche Festival
Every year in early December, Bamboche brings a selection of performances designed for toddlers, children, and middle schoolers to Amiens. The Maison de la Culture d'Amiens is launching this youth arts festival in 2026, featuring theatre, dance, circus, puppetry, and music hosted across various venues in the city, including the Centre culturel Jacques Tati, the Maison du Théâtre, Le Safran, and Le Trait d'Union.
Bamboche Festival — edition 2026
The Maison de la Culture d'Amiens is proud to launch the first edition of Bamboche!, an arts festival for young audiences. From December 1st to 7th, dance, theater, puppetry, opera, and dance parties will take over various venues across Amiens and its surrounding area, catering to everyone from babies as young as 6 months to older children. Highlights include Pauline Viardot's version of Cinderella, Baby Macbeth, and the Turbo Minus dance party.

- "Cendrillon", an operetta by Pauline Viardot directed by David Lescot (December 3rd and 4th, Grand Théâtre)
- "Baby Macbeth" by Agnès Limbos, for ages 12 months and up (December 5th and 6th, Maison du Théâtre)
- "Turbo Minus", a 2.0 dance party and contest to close the festival (December 5th, New Dreams)
- "Et si tu danses", touring the Amiens metropolitan area from December 1st to 7th
- "Les Pop'up de l'histoire naturelle" exhibition, opening reception on December 3rd
- Family Day at the Maison, December 6th
