Beauvais Lights Up for Christmas

Every year, from early December to early January, the city of Beauvais adorns itself with its most beautiful lights for the Féeries de Noël. This event transforms the city center into an enchanting Christmas village, attracting thousands of visitors to enjoy the magical atmosphere and the many activities offered.

The Artisanal Christmas Market

Located on Place Jeanne-Hachette, the Christmas market brings together around 60 exhibitors offering artisanal objects, original creations, and local delicacies. It's the ideal place to find unique gifts and share a convivial moment over mulled wine or a crêpe.

Attractions and Rides

The Féeries de Noël offer numerous attractions for the whole family: an outdoor ice rink, a Ferris wheel offering a panorama of the illuminated city, a toboggan run, and rides that delight the youngest. Santa Claus's house welcomes children who can meet Santa Claus and entrust him with their letters.

Shows and Parades

Street shows animate the city center streets throughout the Féeries: musicians, jugglers, brass bands, acrobats, and magical characters mingle with visitors. The highlight is the Grand Christmas Parade, a spectacular procession with illuminated floats, costumed artists, and special effects that travels through the city center.

Illuminations and Mapping

The illuminations transform the streets and squares of Beauvais into a jewel box of light. A video mapping projected onto the facade of the Saint-Pierre Cathedral offers a grandiose visual spectacle, blending magical images and Christmas music.

A Solidarity Event

The Féeries de Noël also carry a solidarity dimension, with activities and actions in favor of families and the most vulnerable populations. The Christmas spirit of sharing and generosity is at the heart of the event.
