The Noël Féerique de Gouvieux: the magic of the holidays between forest and castle

Every December, the town of Gouvieux, nestled between the forest of Chantilly and the banks of the Oise, celebrates the end-of-year holidays with its Féerie de Noël. This event, organized by the Town of Gouvieux, transforms the town center into a truly festive and warm Christmas village for about ten days.

A Christmas market with 49 exhibitors

The Gouvieux Christmas market brings together 49 carefully selected exhibitors, offering a variety of products:

  • Well-being products: natural cosmetics, essential oils, artisanal soaps
  • Ready-to-wear: clothing, accessories, and leather goods
  • Food: foie gras, chocolates, jams, honeys, and local specialties
  • Home linen and decoration: decorative objects, candles, and festive items

More than 20 activities for all ages

The Féerie de Noël offers a rich program of over 20 activities:

  • Living farm: discover farm animals for children's delight
  • Photo with Santa Claus: a magical souvenir for families
  • Festive inauguration: surprise show, illuminations, mulled wine, and hot chocolate in the library park
  • Creative workshops and games for children

The Troglodyte Village

An event within the event, the Troglodyte Village hosts artisans who present their unique pieces in an original setting. Anne de La Forge, Lydia Cheval, and their guests offer exceptional artisanal creations in these characteristic cavities of Gouvieux's local heritage.

Concerts and fireworks

The musical highlights of the Féerie de Noël include a grand pop-rock-variety concert by the 80 musicians of Médiator in the town hall, as well as other musical entertainment throughout the event. The Féerie culminates with a surprise show followed by a fireworks display launched from the parking lot at Place Amic, offering a grand finale to the festivities.

The locations of the féerie

The Féerie de Noël unfolds across several sites in the town center of Gouvieux:

  • Town Hall Forecourt: heart of the market and activities
  • Library Park: mulled wine, hot chocolate, and outdoor activities area
  • Town Hall: indoor concerts and shows
  • Troglodyte Village: art crafts
