The Senlis Christmas Village: medieval charm and holiday magic

Every first weekend of December, the town of Senlis hosts its Christmas Village in the heritage setting of the Espace Saint-Pierre. This former church, converted into a cultural space, and its surroundings offer an exceptional setting for a Christmas market imbued with authenticity and medieval charm.

Nearly 70 passionate exhibitors

The Christmas Village brings together nearly 70 carefully selected exhibitors, who present:

  • Artisanal creations: jewelry, wooden objects, ceramics, textiles, scented candles
  • Local delicacies: jams, honeys, chocolates, foie gras, Picardy regional products
  • Original gift ideas: artisanal toys, Christmas decorations, books, illustrations

Demonstrations and entertainment

The Christmas Village comes alive with artisan demonstrations. Visitors can attend workshops on origami, wood carving, or other creative techniques. These moments of sharing allow visitors to discover the artisans' know-how and discuss their passion with them.

On-site catering

Food trucks and gourmet stands offer sweet or savory breaks in a festive atmosphere. Mulled wine, crepes, waffles, and seasonal specialties delight visitors' taste buds.

Senlis celebrates all December long

The Christmas Village is part of a broader program of festivities that illuminate Senlis from early December to January 4th. The city is adorned with sparkling lights and offers a multitude of entertainment:

  • Magical illuminations in the streets and monuments of the medieval city
  • Musical entertainment and street performances
  • Creative workshops for children
  • Meet-and-greets with Santa Claus

An exceptional heritage setting
