The Town Center in Celebration
Vauréal, part of the Cergy-Pontoise urban community, sets up its annual Christmas market on Place du Cœur Battant, in front of the Town Hall, with additional space in the Town Hall's exhibition hall and, in some years, the lobby of L'Antarès.
Gastronomy and Craftsmanship
The market brings together between 70 and 85 exhibitors based on recent editions (2023-2025). You will find producers of honey, jams, chocolates, cheeses, charcuterie, champagne, and craft beers, alongside artisans showcasing jewelry, leather goods, ceramics, sculptures, and decorative items. A covered dining area serves mulled wine, hot chocolate, crêpes, and other delicacies.
Ice Rink and Entertainment
A pop-up ice rink opens on Friday afternoon alongside the first food trucks, just before the main market weekend. Recent editions have featured face painting, a photo booth, pony rides, balloon modeling, workshops with the L'Agora socio-cultural center, and several visits from Santa Claus in his chalet, as well as scheduled highlights such as choirs, concerts, animated film screenings, and ice sculpting demonstrations.
