Festival En Voix ! — edition 2026
The 9th edition of the Festival En Voix! kicks off on November 5, 2026, with Philippe Boesmans' opera Pinocchio and runs until December 17 throughout the Hauts-de-France region: 17 shows and 61 performances, ranging from the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne to rural venues and partner intercommunalities. Featuring operas (Mozart's La Clémence de Titus), baroque concerts, and Christmas carols, the program explores vocal art in all its forms, including the anniversary concert of the Ayònis trio, celebrating ten years in residence at the Théâtre Impérial.

For its 9th edition, the Festival En Voix! presents 17 shows and 61 performances over 43 days across the entire Hauts-de-France region. The Théâtre Impérial - Opéra de Compiègne hosts the flagship productions: the opening opera Pinocchio by Philippe Boesmans, the anniversary concert Ayònis Birthday Party!, Bach's Magnificat, Consolations by La Tempête, Mozart's La Clémence de Titus, and Un Noël anglais for the finale.
The festival also brings its traveling shows to around thirty towns and intercommunalities in Hauts-de-France (Oise, Somme, Pas-de-Calais, Nord, Aisne): Kosma Kapella, Charmante Nuit, Joy to the world, Ruptures, and the musical tale Pajarillo Verde for younger audiences.

Lyrical art on a regional scale
The Festival En Voix ! is a unique event in France. Created in 2018 by the Théâtre Impérial – Opéra de Compiègne, it is the only lyrical art and choral singing festival deployed on the scale of an entire region. For five weeks between November and December, the festival offers fifteen productions and nearly fifty performances in towns and villages across Hauts-de-France.
The Théâtre Impérial, heart of the festival
The Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, an architectural gem commissioned by Napoleon III, is the main venue for the festival. This Italian-style hall with 800 seats, boasting remarkable acoustics, hosts the flagship productions of each edition: operas, oratorios, and symphonic concerts with choir. The majestic setting of the theatre contributes to the exceptional experience offered to spectators.
A rich and accessible program
Each edition unfolds a varied program: staged operas, lyrical recitals, oratorios, a cappella concerts, musical shows for young audiences, and Christmas carols. The repertoire spans all eras, from baroque music to contemporary creations.
