About Music Festival in Couëron
Every June 21, Couëron celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, local bands, and guest artists play for free in the streets, squares, and along the Loire. Organized by the Ville de Couëron, in the Nantes metropolitan area, the evening is entirely free and open to all audiences.
The Fête de la Musique in Couëron
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Couëron into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, in all genres and for all ages, from local band concerts to guest artists.
A celebration in the heart of the city
Usually, several open-air stages are set up in the streets and central squares, while the town's bars and restaurants extend the celebration onto their terraces. All styles coexist — world music, classical, chanson, contemporary music — for a popular and friendly evening on the banks of the Loire.
