La Prairie aux livres — edition 2026

For its inaugural edition, from September 25 to 27, 2026, La Prairie aux livres brings together 23 independent publishing houses and over 37 authors and illustrators to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Rouquemoute. Featured guests include comic book author Chloé Wary and illustrator Laetitia Coryn, who will be participating in signings and meet-and-greets. The Prairie au Duc neighborhood will come alive for three days with workshops, performances, and DJ sets. Admission is free.

A neighborhood-driven debut

La Prairie aux livres is organized by the Prairie au Duc Nefs merchants' association, with the support of Unacod, Accoord, and the Rouquemoute publishing house, whose bookstore-bar, Chez Rouquemoute, serves as the event's hub. The festival marks the tenth anniversary of the publisher, which was founded in 2016.

A dozen comic book publishers will host a pop-up bookstore alongside the various exhibitor stands. Local businesses, including Scrap Café and Stereolux, will also host additional activities throughout the weekend.
