About MidiMinuitPoésie
MidiMinuitPoésie is the annual festival organized by the Maison de la Poésie de Nantes, where literature intersects with music, visual arts, and performance. Every October since 2001, around thirty authors, musicians, and visual artists have taken over venues, bookstores, and stages throughout the Nantes metropolitan area for readings, concert-readings, and a poetic marathon running from noon to midnight.

MidiMinuitPoésie celebrates its 26th edition from October 10 to 16 in Nantes and Rezé. On Saturday, the marathon from noon to midnight at le lieu unique explores mental health, racial and sexist domination, and romantic love, featuring Amandine Dhée, Sami Fatih, Lillian-Yvonne Bertram, and Nana Quinn. The week continues with Marie Ndiaye at Pannonica, RadioChange at Place du Change, a reading by Amandine Dhée at Le Chronographe, and finally Fanny Chiarello and Soizic Lebrat at MIXT.

A festival that spreads across the city
Spearheaded by the Maison de la Poésie de Nantes, an association dedicated to promoting contemporary poetry, the festival takes its programming beyond traditional walls. Past editions have been hosted at Le Lieu unique, Stereolux, Le Cinématographe, the HAB Galerie and Les Vagues bookstores, and the Place Sainte-Croix. Across the metropolitan area, partner venues also open their doors for special readings, such as Le Chronographe in Rezé.
Formats that bring poetry off the page
From spoken-word readings, concert-readings, and illustrated readings to live radio broadcasts and panel discussions, the festival blends disciplines to showcase around thirty voices, ranging from established writers to emerging authors. The festival traditionally concludes on Saturday with a poetic marathon, held from noon to midnight at Le Lieu unique.
