For the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival), Montélimar transforms its city center into an open-air stage on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 5 PM to 11:30 PM. Organized by the City of Montélimar, the evening is entirely free and features about ten stages in the city's main squares: rap, pop, reggae-dub, rock, metal, techno, jazz, choirs, symphony orchestra, and DJ sets coexist to suit all tastes.
The Fête de la Musique in Montélimar
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique takes over public spaces for free. In Montélimar, the 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, June 20: the city center is covered with stages, from the first brass bands during the day to late-night concerts and DJ sets, in a wide variety of styles.
A festival spread across the city center squares
The City of Montélimar distributes the program across the squares of the historic heart: the Petite Scène, Place de l'Europe, Place du Temple, Place du Marché, Place des Clercs, Place Léopold Blanc, the public garden kiosk, the Media Library forecourt, and the Temple. A brass band parades through the streets in the afternoon, while each square offers its own atmosphere, from Dixieland jazz to techno, from choirs to the symphony orchestra.
