Every June 21, Noisy-le-Sec celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur bands, conservatory students, and local artists play for free at dusk to celebrate the beginning of summer. Organized by the City of Noisy-le-Sec, in Seine-Saint-Denis, the evening is entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Noisy-le-Sec
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Noisy-le-Sec into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces in the evening, in all genres and for all audiences, to celebrate the shortest night of the year and the arrival of summer.

Usually, the festival in Noisy-le-Sec brings together the city's amateur bands, students and ensembles from the Nadia et Lili Boulanger conservatory, leisure centers, and youth structures, around several highlights that follow one another late into the evening.
