About Music Festival in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon
Every June 21st, Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, local ensembles, and guest artists play for free in the different neighborhoods of the commune, from the esplanade de la Gravière to the Centre. Organized by the Ville de Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon and local interest committees, the day is entirely free and open to all.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces, from morning until late evening, across all genres and for all audiences.
A festival spread across the neighborhoods
Usually, musical events take place in several neighborhoods of the city — around the esplanade de la Gravière, place Soubeirat, the Centre, and the Provinces-Chavril and La Plaine sectors. The event combines harmony, choirs, instrumental ensembles, and open stages, with the participation of local interest committees and the festival committee. A refreshment stand and catering are usually available on site.
