About Music'Allier
The Music'Allier Festival is a summer event dedicated exclusively to classical music. It is organized by the Collectif Symphonique de Proximité and features the Collectif Orchestral Sous Influences, a touring orchestra of 35 young professional musicians from various nationalities, conducted by Ernesto Insam.
On July 17, 2026, the Orchestre Sous Influences will return to Langeac as part of its upcoming summer tour in Haute-Loire, with a concert at the église Saint-Gal at 6:00 PM.
Since its creation in 2020 by conductor and cellist Ernesto Insam, the Orchestre Sous Influences has been traveling through towns and villages to bring the symphonic repertoire beyond major urban centers and foster connections between artists and local residents.
"Throughout this collective journey, let us experience the convergence of Nature and Culture; let us observe the influences of the great masters; let us seek our common values while celebrating our differences!" suggests Ernesto.
It is quite a program for the thirty or so young musicians, whether professional or in training, who are set to enchant us!
The concert will be followed by a social gathering featuring an open stage, a refreshment bar, and on-site dining.
A commitment to cultural democratization
True to the philosophy of the Collectif Symphonique de Proximité, the festival maintains an accessible pricing policy: free admission for all minors, moderate rates for adults, and advantageous multi-evening passes. The goal is to help as many people as possible discover and enjoy classical music by breaking down the geographical, social, and economic barriers that can keep audiences away from traditional concert halls.

The second edition of the Music'Allier Festival is confirmed for summer 2026 in Langeac. The Collectif Orchestral Sous Influences will return to Langeac for another evening of classical music.
Second Edition of the Music'Allier Festival - Summer 2026
25 musicians, 1 soloist, 1 sound engineer, 1 stage manager, and 1 conductor: everything is ready for a fresh start.
Following a week-long residency from July 9th to 13th at Mains d’Œuvres in Saint-Ouen and the Académie du Climat in Paris, the Orchestre Sous Influences will head out for its twelfth summer tour, taking place from July 14th to 20th, 2026.
Since its inception in October 2020, the project led by the Association Symphonique de Proximité Île-de-France has been committed to bringing symphonic repertoire to rural areas, supporting young professional and emerging musicians, and promoting contemporary composers.
Born in the Allier valley and shaped by the people it has met along the way, the Sous Influences project continues to grow thanks to the active support of an ever-growing audience, eager to discover or rediscover timeless works that span generations.

Practical Information
Access and Transport
By car: Langeac is accessible via the RN102 from Le Puy-en-Velay (about 40 minutes) or from Brioude (about 20 minutes). From Clermont-Ferrand, take the A75 and then the RN102 (about 1 hour 30 minutes).
By train: The Langeac train station is served by the Clermont-Ferrand – Nîmes TER line (Ligne des Cévennes). Trains run from Le Puy-en-Velay and Clermont-Ferrand.
Concert Venue
The concerts take place at the église Saint-Gal.
Schedule
Concerts begin at 6:00 PM each evening. It is recommended to arrive early to enjoy the site and the on-site dining options.
