Noël au Cirque Imagine: The Magic of the Holidays Under the Big Top

Each year, the Cirque Imagine in Vaulx-en-Velin celebrates the end-of-year holidays with a show specially designed for the Christmas season. For two weeks, from December 20th to January 4th, the Grand Chapiteau at Carré de Soie welcomes young and old for two hours of magical circus, with two daily performances at 2 PM and 5 PM.

A Show Renewed Each Year

Noël au Cirque Imagine is more than just a circus show: it's a true celebration of the holidays, led by about twenty international artists selected from the world's greatest circus festivals. The program blends traditional circus arts—acrobatics, trapeze, juggling, balancing—with innovative contemporary acts. The clowns bring their touch of humor and interactivity, while the rhythmic choreography and aerial performances create moments of suspended grace in the air.

A Magical Universe for the Holidays

The staging of the Christmas show is distinguished by its festive and poetic atmosphere. The sets, costumes, and lighting are specially created for the season, immersing spectators in an enchanted world. The intermission allows families to enjoy crepes and popcorn in the warm atmosphere of the big top.

Cirque Imagine: An Iconic Venue

Founded in 1999 by David and Anastasiya Massot, descendants of a six-generation lineage of circus artists, Cirque Imagine has been permanently located at the Carré de Soie since 2012. This 2,200 m² adaptable complex, accessible by metro (Line A, "Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie" station), tram (T3 and T7), or car (15 minutes from the center of Lyon), has become one of the major cultural hubs of the Lyon metropolitan area.

A Popular Family Outing

With its affordable prices and friendly atmosphere, Noël au Cirque Imagine has become an unmissable event for Lyon families and visitors during the Christmas holidays. Holders of the Lyon City Card receive a 30% discount on ticket prices. The show is accessible from age 2, and free for children under 3.
