Noktafest is the contemporary music festival organized every summer by Noktambül, a Rennes-based café-concert, in Ille-et-Vilaine. For several weeks from late June to mid-July, the event highlights the local and emerging scene through free concerts, public rehearsals, showcases, jam sessions, and open mic nights. The festival takes place at Noktambül and in its outdoor space, the Jardinbül, in Rennes.

Noktafest is a contemporary music festival held every summer in Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany). It is organized by Noktambül, a Rennes-based café-concert renowned for its eclectic program throughout the year (French chanson, jazz, pop, rock, world music, etc.) and its friendly atmosphere.
A contemporary music festival open to all
Spread over several weeks, generally from late June to mid or late July, Noktafest offers a packed program: free concerts, public rehearsals, showcases, jam sessions, and open mic nights. The event gives pride of place to local and emerging artists, in a spirit of sharing and discovery. A large part of the program is free to access, with some evenings being paid.
