About Oktoberry Fest
The Oktoberry Fest brings a Bavarian-style celebration to the Halle au Blé in Bourges, featuring liter-sized beers, authentic German specialties, live music from a singer and DJ, and a beer-stein holding contest for visitors dressed in dirndls and lederhosen. The event is organized by the Oktoberryfest Bourges association in partnership with the local V and B bar and the Tontons Berruyers club.
The inaugural edition took place on October 19, 2025, transforming the 19th-century Halle au Blé market hall into a lively festival space from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, centered around the beer bar and main stage. Bavarian-themed costumes are encouraged, though not mandatory for entry.
Oktoberry Fest — edition 2026
The second Oktoberry Fest returns on September 13, 2026, to the Halle au Blé in Bourges for a day of beer and Bavarian vibes, hosted by the Oktoberryfest Bourges association in partnership with the V and B bar and Les Tontons Berruyers.
