The electro Halloween night in the heart of the former Nice slaughterhouses
Paranormal Festival is an electronic music event that takes over the former Nice slaughterhouses, now a cultural hub called Le 109, every October 31st. This unique Halloween night mixes house, techno, and electro across three different stages, with light installations, projections, and immersive decorations transforming the industrial space into a paranormal universe. Over 2,000 festival-goers come to dance until the end of the night in a supernatural and enchanting atmosphere.
Every October 31st, the Paranormal Festival takes over the former Nice slaughterhouses, now transformed into Le 109, a center for contemporary cultures. This Halloween night has become a must-attend event on the Azuréan electronic scene, attracting over 2,000 dancers in an industrial setting metamorphosed into a paranormal universe.
Paranormal Festival stands out with its three stages offering varied musical atmospheres. From melodic house to industrial techno, through experimental electro and trance, each dancefloor offers a unique experience. The programmed DJs and producers represent the best of the French and international electronic scene, mixing headliners and emerging talents. Sound quality is paramount thanks to professional sound systems adapted to each space.
Beyond the music, Paranormal Festival distinguishes itself with its immersive scenography. Spectacular light shows, video projections on the industrial walls, and artistic installations transform Le 109 into a supernatural universe. Each edition explores a different theme: "The Angels of Death" (Act IV), "Voices From Hell" (Act V)... Festival-goers are encouraged to come in costume to contribute to the evening's fantastic atmosphere.
Le 109, the former Nice slaughterhouse site located on Boulevard du Mercantour, provides a spectacular setting for an electronic festival. Its vast industrial halls, high ceilings, and raw spaces offer ideal acoustics and atmosphere for electronic music. The venue, now a cultural hub for the City of Nice, hosts artistic and cultural events throughout the year, but it's during the Paranormal Festival that it reveals its full power.
