Pelouses Électroniques: Open-Air Electronic Party

Pelouses Électroniques is the electronic component of the musical weekend organized by the Contre-temps festival (Dodekazz association) at the Jardin des Deux Rives in Strasbourg. Since their inception, they have formed a complementary duo with Pelouses Sonores: Saturday is dedicated to DJ sets, and Sunday to live concerts.

A Demanding and Diverse Musical Selection

The programming of Pelouses Électroniques reflects the diversity of current electronic music. Invited DJs and selectors explore a wide spectrum of genres: house, UK garage, techno, breakbeats, minimal, deep house, new beat, and experimental sounds. The festival gives pride of place to local collectives — Dodekazz, Clubbin'House, Subtronic, Flashball — while also inviting artists from the national and international scene.

A Format Designed for the Outdoors

The concept is simple and effective: a stage set up in the park, endless lawns for lounging and dancing, a refreshment stand, and food trucks for refreshments, all within the green and soothing setting of the Jardin des Deux Rives. The event starts in the mid-afternoon to enjoy the sun and continues until nightfall, offering a magical transition between daylight and dusk over the Rhine.

An Inclusive and Free Event

True to the spirit of the Contre-temps festival, Pelouses Électroniques is free and open access, making this event accessible to everyone — families, students, clubbers, and newcomers alike. The atmosphere, far from the dark club scene, emphasizes conviviality, natural light, and the joy of dancing outdoors, barefoot on the grass by the Rhine.

This event is part of the larger Contre-temps festival, which in 2025 celebrates its 20th edition with two weeks of musical programming in Strasbourg.
