The association Ardèche Culture Rock, founded in March 2022, aims to promote contemporary music and make it accessible to all audiences through masterclasses and festivals. The Privas Rock Festival is the association's flagship project, championing the place of women in rock and current music, a commitment that gives the festival a strong and unique identity in the French festival scene.
Two Stages, Six Bands, One Day
The festival offers six concerts spread across two stages, from early afternoon until late at night. The concentrated one-day format allows for a dense and varied program, featuring bands of national or international renown. Rock, hard rock, blues rock, punk rock: styles cross and respond, offering a panorama of the contemporary female rock scene.
2024 Edition: Girl Power at the Stade du Lac
The 2nd edition of the Privas Rock Festival took place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Stade du Lac in Privas, from 2 PM to 1:30 AM. The festival hosted six bands: Ladies Ballbreakers, Jessie Lee & The Alchemists, Kill The Princess, Hosta, Kill Gallon, and Bouches à Oreilles. The artisan village, accessible for free from 9 AM, featured clothing stalls, a tattoo truck, motorcycles and vintage vehicles, and food services.
The Stade du Lac, an Open-Air Rock Venue
The Stade du Lac in Privas, a municipal stadium located by the town's lake, offers an ideal open-air setting for a rock festival. Its layout allows for the installation of two stages and an artisan village, while the natural lake setting adds a touch of greenery to the event. The stadium is easily accessible from Privas town center and has parking nearby.
