Rennes sur Roulettes is an international sports event dedicated to urban sliding that takes place annually in Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany). Often nicknamed the «Woodstock of roller skating» or the «Paris-Roubaix of sliding,» it is considered the oldest event of its kind in Europe, with over four decades of existence.
A weekend of races and sliding
The core of the event is the speed roller skating races: the international marathon (42 km, counting for the World Inline Cup), the S'Mi Roller half-marathon (French Cup), the veterans' marathon, as well as the Rollerblade Kid's and Trott'Kids youth events. Additionally, there are freestyle competitions (speed slalom, slalom battles, free jump, skate cross), roller skating tours through Rennes (Rando'Mobility, Rando'Pop), and numerous activities accessible to all.
