Pré en Bulles in Bédée
Pré en Bulles is a comic festival held in Bédée, 30 minutes from Rennes, in the heart of Ille-et-Vilaine. The event celebrates the 9th art by bringing together authors from all over France and beyond, scriptwriters and illustrators, who transport visitors to parallel universes through their works.
Signings and Encounters
The festival offers signing sessions with the present authors, giving visitors the opportunity to meet their favorite artists and leave with personalized prints.
Activities and Exhibitions
Free activities for all ages and tastes complete the program, subject to availability. The 2024 edition was dedicated to legends and myths, exploring Greek mythology, Norse gods, Arthurian legends, and the Indian Mahabharata.

A day of meet-and-greet/signing sessions with around forty authors and illustrators, punctuated by exhibitions, shows, workshops, and debates around the 9th art.
Pré en Bulles 2026 — « Transmission des possibles »
The 17th edition of the Pré en Bulles comic strip festival will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Bédée, about thirty minutes west of Rennes. Organized by the association Le Chantier, this edition explores the theme « Transmission des possibles »: how stories bridge the gap between received legacies and futures to imagine.
Meet-and-Greet and Signing Sessions
The heart of the festival remains the encounter with authors: around forty scriptwriters and illustrators, from Brittany and all over France, will offer signing sessions throughout the day (except between 12 PM and 2 PM). Announced guests include Pauline Permette, Lomig, Jop, Delphine Le Lay, Céline Ziwès, Alain Goutal, Anne-Gaëlle Morizur, Maud Bénézit, Nicoby, and Fabien Grolleau.
Activities, Shows, and Exhibitions
Beyond the signing sessions, the 2026 edition offers activities accessible to everyone: « Rébus tous azimuts », « La Bande à Bullos », « À la découverte de nos racines » and the « Rencontre avec… » sessions, as well as public shows, exhibitions, and debates. These activities are accessible all day, including during the lunch break.

Practical Information
Location: multi-purpose hall and sports complex, in Bédée centre (35137), in Ille-et-Vilaine, approximately 30 minutes west of Rennes.
Access: from the N12 (towards Rennes or Saint-Brieuc), take exit "Bédée centre", then follow the signs. Free parking on site. Car-sharing possible.
Hours: Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM. Meet-and-greet signing sessions take place all day, except between 12 PM and 2 PM (authors' lunch break). Shows, exhibitions, and activities are accessible all day, including between 12 PM and 2 PM.
Prices: €7 for adults (over 18 years old), reduced price €4 (students, job seekers, people with disabilities, holders of the Sortir! card). Free for under 18s. The ticket provides access to all activities: shows, meet-and-greet signing sessions, exhibitions, workshops, and debates.
On site: food truck (homemade dishes), festival bar (local and organic drinks, sandwiches, galettes-saucisses, crêpes, homemade cakes), festival shop and partner bookstores.
