Quai des Bulles — 45th edition (October 9-11, 2026)
The 45th edition of Quai des Bulles will be held on October 9, 10 and 11, 2026 in Saint-Malo, at the Palais du Grand Large facing the sea. A festival of comic books and projected images, it is the second largest comic book event in France after Angoulême, attracting approximately 40,000 visitors each year.
The usual program includes: exhibitions of original plates, film screenings, thematic meetings, shows for all audiences, family workshops, and a large book fair bringing together several hundred authors for signings, including a space dedicated to manga. The festival also schedules numerous opportunities for exchange with authors (conferences, graphic meetings, comic book cafés) and presents free exhibitions in the city's neighborhoods.

Location
The heart of the festival is held at the Palais du Grand Large, facing the sea, in Saint-Malo (35400), in Ille-et-Vilaine. Exhibitions and activities also take place in other Saint-Malo venues (Pôle culturel La Grande Passerelle, public spaces in the neighborhoods).
Opening Hours
In recent editions, the festival opens on Friday and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Hours to be confirmed for the 2026 edition.
Prices
1-day entry: €13 full price, €11 Cezam card, €8 reduced price (11-18 years old, student, job seeker, disabled person + accompanying person), free for children under 11. 3-day pass: €25 full price, €20 Cezam card, €16 reduced price, free for children under 11. The official ticketing for the 2026 edition will be announced later on the festival website.
