High-level international chess tournament in Rochefort

For over 20 years, the Rochefort International Chess Festival has established itself as one of the major tournaments in the region. Every February, the Palais des Congrès hosts around 300 players from about ten nationalities for a week of intense competition.
The festival offers several competitions adapted to all levels: the Masters Tournament reserved for players with ELO +1900, the Accession Tournament for other players, and a youth tournament from Minime to Poussin. This organization allows everyone to participate according to their playing level.
