About Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc Lights Festival

At the end of every year, the center of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains is transformed by light and sound installations once night falls. Launched in 2016 by the local tourist office in collaboration with the team behind the Fête des Lumières in Lyon, the Lumières Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc event brightens up every evening in late December. Trees and building facades are bathed in color, while monumental structures and soundscapes are scattered throughout the village streets at the foot of Mont-Blanc.

Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc Lights Festival — edition 2026

From December 23rd to 30th, 2026, the streets of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains light up after dark. Trees and building facades are adorned with lights, while monumental installations and soundscapes create a magical night-time trail through the village, right at the foot of Mont-Blanc.
