The Salon de la Gastronomie et du Terroir is the annual meeting place for food lovers in Bar-le-Duc. Every autumn, La Barroise hosts this fair, which highlights the richness and diversity of Meuse, Lorraine, and Grand Est regional products.

The fair brings together over fifty exhibitors and producers who come to present and offer tastings of their specialties:

• Meuse snails: snail farmers introduce their preparations based on this emblematic dish.
• Honey and bee products: Meuse beekeepers offer honey, gingerbread, and confectionery.
• Artisanal jams and preserves: the famous Bar-le-Duc redcurrant jam and other specialties.
• Cheeses and dairy products: terrines, aged cheeses, and regional cheese specialties.
• Cured meats and meats: pâté lorrain, black pudding, sausages, and other charcuterie preparations.
• Wines and spirits: wines from Côtes de Meuse and eaux-de-vie from Lorraine.

Tastings and encounters
