The Salon des Vins de Loire: Showcase of the Loire Vineyards

Founded over 30 years ago, the Salon des Vins de Loire is the largest professional trade show dedicated to Loire Valley wines. It is held annually at the Angers Exhibition Centre in early February, bringing together the entire Loire wine industry: independent winegrowers, trading houses, and cooperative wineries from the four major Loire wine regions.

Over 300 Exhibitors from the Four Terroirs

The trade show brings together over 300 exhibitors representing the diversity of the Loire vineyards, the third largest appellation vineyard in France. The four major regions are represented: the Pays Nantais with its Muscadets, Anjou-Saumur with its Chenins, Touraine with its Sauvignons and Cabernets, and Centre-Loire with its Sancerres and Pouilly-Fumés. Red, white, rosé, sparkling, and sweet wines are all represented.

ALT - Angers Loire DégusT'

Since 2021, the Salon des Vins de Loire has been part of the ALT - Angers Loire DégusT' event, which brings together three complementary trade shows at the same time: the Salon des Vins de Loire, the Levée de la Loire (organic and natural wine trade show), and the Salon Demeter (biodynamic wines). This synergy allows buyers to discover the entire Loire wine offering in one place, from conventional wines to organic and biodynamic wines.

A 100% Professional Event

The Salon des Vins de Loire is exclusively for wine professionals: wine merchants, restaurateurs, sommeliers, importers, distributors, and specialized journalists. Over 4,500 buyers from France and abroad gather for two days to taste, negotiate, and forge business partnerships. The trade show is organized by Destination Angers in collaboration with the Loire wine interprofessional organizations.
