SuperVIA: Live Arts Take Over Maubeuge

Since 2019, the SuperVIA festival has transformed the city of Maubeuge into an open-air artistic playground. Led by Le Manège, a cross-border National Stage, this ambitious festival offers a program that blends street arts, contemporary circus, musical performances, theater, dance, digital arts, and visual installations.

A Multidisciplinary Program in Public Spaces

For 12 days in May, SuperVIA takes over Maubeuge's squares, parks, streets, and cultural venues. About twenty performances and events are offered, with original creations designed for public spaces. The festival is distinguished by its festive and popular dimension, with offerings accessible to all audiences, from families to contemporary art enthusiasts.

Festival Highlights

Among the recurring highlights of the festival are the ethno-parade, a musical and costumed procession that crosses the city; circus performances under a big top or in the open air; digital exhibitions in the spaces of Le Manège; and the closing pyrotechnic show, a grand sound and light finale that brings together thousands of spectators.

A Cross-Border Festival

Located a few kilometers from the Belgian border, the SuperVIA festival embodies the cross-border vocation of Le Manège de Maubeuge. Partnerships with Belgian cultural organizations enrich the program and attract audiences from both sides of the border.

Evolution towards iTAK

Since 2022, the festival has evolved under the name iTAK, retaining the multidisciplinary and festive spirit of SuperVIA while expanding its program. iTAK presents itself as a festival of cross-border drifts, offering a month of live performances in and around Maubeuge.

SuperVIA — edition 2026

The iTAK festival 2026 (5th edition), heir to SuperVIA, will be held from May 5 to 30 at Le Manège in Maubeuge with a month of cross-border live performances.

iTAK 2026 - 5th Edition

The iTAK festival returns for its 5th edition from May 5 to 30, 2026, at Le Manège in Maubeuge, a cross-border National Stage. A full month of live performances, artistic drifts, and cross-border encounters between Maubeuge and Belgium.
