Since 2016, the festival has brought the castle park to life with its "brass" spirit, making it the meeting point for brass bands from the West.

The reference brass festival
The Surgères Brass Festival has established itself as the reference brass festival in Western France. Every year, on the last weekend of July, the town of Surgères vibrates to the rhythm of trumpets, trombones, tubas, and other instruments from the brass family.
An exceptional setting
The festival takes place in the magnificent Parc du Château de Surgères, offering a green and historic setting perfect for hosting open-air concerts. The natural acoustics of the park and the bucolic atmosphere create a unique musical experience.
Quality orchestras and fanfares
The festival hosts brass orchestras, brass bands, and fanfares from all over France and sometimes Europe. From classical repertoire to pop-rock arrangements, including jazz and film music, the program offers a wide diversity of styles and atmospheres.
A family-friendly and festive festival
With its free concerts and friendly atmosphere, the Surgères Brass Festival is a family-friendly event accessible to all. On-site catering, entertainment, and relaxation areas complete the musical offering for a full festive weekend.
