Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre Photography Festival

Every summer since 2011, the heart of Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre transforms into an open-air gallery. The photography festival hosts a free exhibition across the Parc du Château de Genève, the town square, and the presbytery garden, featuring large-format prints—some as big as one by three meters—showcasing the work of a dozen guest photographers each year. From landscapes and portraits to black-and-white photography and wildlife, there is no set theme from one year to the next; the signature XXL format remains the festival's hallmark.

The event collaborates with the Jacques-Prévert middle school and a collective of young photographers to shape the program alongside established artists. It is organized by the Bocage Bressuirais Tourist Office.
