The unmissable tech conference in Tours

Created in 2018, Touraine Tech has established itself in a few editions as the reference technical conference in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Every year in February, the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Tours hosts around 550 digital enthusiasts — developers, architects, data scientists, product managers, DevOps, and students — for two days of conferences, exchanges, and networking.

A rich and diverse technical program

The Touraine Tech program covers a wide spectrum of digital technologies:

• Development: programming languages, frameworks, best practices, software architecture, testing, and code quality.
• Artificial intelligence: machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Data: big data, data engineering, data science, data visualization, and data governance.
• Cloud: cloud infrastructure, containerization, Kubernetes, serverless, and DevOps.
• Agility: agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, product management, and digital transformation.

Quality speakers

Touraine Tech attracts recognized speakers in their fields every year, from both the national and international tech scene. Talks are selected via an open call for proposals (CFP) which guarantees the diversity and quality of the program. Conferences take place in parallel in several lecture halls and rooms at the faculty, with various formats: keynotes, 45-minute talks, and lightning talks.

A friendly and accessible event

The entrance ticket to Touraine Tech gives access to all conferences, coffee breaks, and Thursday and Friday lunches. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, encouraging exchanges between participants, speakers, and partners. The event is supported by many tech companies from the region and beyond, which help make Touraine Tech a quality event at affordable prices.
