2026
About Fête de Saint-Gratien
Un monde... Des cultures is the annual festival hosted by the town of Saint-Gratien (Val-d'Oise). Every June, the town dedicates a week to a specific country or region through a series of performances, film screenings, and lectures. The festivities culminate on a Saturday with an open-air event at Place du Château Catinat, featuring an artisanal and gourmet market, a parade, free concerts, and a fireworks display. The 16th edition (2025) celebrated Cuba, while the 17th (2026) will focus on Spain.
Fête de Saint-Gratien — edition 2026
For its 17th edition, the "Un monde… Des cultures" festival is setting its sights on Spain from Tuesday, June 9th to Saturday, June 13th, 2026, promising flamenco, festivities, and sangria, according to the organizers. The week-long program features a giant paella feast, a flamenco show, a lecture on Dalí, and cinema screenings. The grand finale on Saturday, June 13th, at the Place du Château Catinat will include a parade, an equestrian show, and four free concerts. Nearly 10,000 festival-goers are expected.
Every year, the "Un monde… Des cultures" festival takes Saint-Gratien on a journey to a different country. This 17th edition is dedicated to Spain. The week's events will be held at the Centre culturel du Forum, the Théâtre Jean Marais, the Médiathèque Théodore Monod, and the Les Toiles cinema, all located on Place François Truffaut.
Saturday, June 13th, is the highlight of the festival: an artisanal and gastronomic market, an equestrian show featuring Iberian horses at Place Gambetta, flamenco and sevillanas workshops, a parade from Square Georgette Agutte to the Place du Château Catinat, live concerts, and a closing fireworks display.
