About Vexin Festival

Since 2003, the Festival du Vexin has brought together classical music soloists in the churches, farmhouses, and châteaux of some twenty towns across the Vexin français, spanning the Oise, Eure, and Val-d'Oise departments. Under the artistic direction of pianist Dimitris Saroglou, the program blends renowned names from the classical repertoire with young, award-winning international artists, while occasionally branching out into jazz and world music.

Programme Vexin Festival 2026

Saturday, September 5th, 2026 — Montjavoult

  • Chamber music concert featuring Maxime Grizard (cello) and Diana Cooper (piano): Beethoven's Cello Sonata in G minor, Op. 5 No. 2, Sibelius's Andantino in C major, and Grieg's Intermezzo in A minor.

The 2026 edition features twenty-one concerts running from June 6th to November 29th across twenty towns in the Vexin region. The "Grands Solistes" series highlights performances by Alexandre Tharaud, Abdel Rahman El Bacha, François Salque, Nicolas Dautricourt, Marta Zabaleta, and Julie Mossay, alongside the premiere of "Bach ou l'infini au bout des doigts" by Pascal Amoyel. The opening concert celebrates Greek folk music, while the Kalakou and Les Voy'elles qu'on sonne ensembles, the Barolo trio, and the Loco Cello Trio round out a program spanning baroque, fado, jazz, and world music.
