Vice & Versa Festival: Revealing Difference, Awakening the Senses
Since 2004, the Vice & Versa Festival has established itself as a unique cultural event in the Drôme festival scene. Located at the Ferme de Genas (Manoir de Genas) in Bourg-lès-Valence, this multidisciplinary festival offers intimate performances every spring in nomadic structures, a convivial guinguette, and unique sensory experiences.
A Festival Accessible to All, Without Exception
The uniqueness of the Vice & Versa Festival lies in its commitment to universal accessibility. Since its creation by the association Vice & Versa, the festival has been developing awareness-raising work on difference and disability, offering quality cultural events for all audiences without exception. Whether you have a visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disability, each performance is designed to be fully experienced by everyone.
A Multidisciplinary and Sensory Program
The festival presents a rich and varied program combining theater, dance, storytelling, new circus, puppetry, screenings, and interactive activities. Among the experiences offered: French Sign Language workshops, dining in the dark, tactile performances, and creations specifically designed to stimulate all senses. This sensory and inclusive approach makes Vice & Versa a truly unique festival.
The Unique Atmosphere of the Ferme de Genas
The Ferme de Genas, a green setting in the heart of Bourg-lès-Valence, provides an ideal setting for this festival that cultivates the spirit of old-fashioned guinguettes and childhood fairs. Performances take place in intimate nomadic structures, while the guinguette offers convivial catering. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and festive, creating a space for encounters and sharing among all audiences.
Over Twenty Years of Cultural and Social Commitment
With over twenty years of existence, the Vice & Versa Festival has built a strong identity around values of sharing, inclusion, and sensory discovery. Beyond the annual festival, the Vice & Versa association develops year-round activities, including the Agora Vice & Versa in November. This continuous commitment makes it a major cultural and social player in the Valence urban area and the Drôme region.
