Every December, Villejuif sets up its Christmas market in the city center, located between the Monoprix parking lot, Rue Georges-Le-Bigot, and Rue Jean-Jaurès. For one weekend, about twenty wooden chalets bring together gourmet vendors, artisans, and local associations, featuring a photo booth with Santa Claus and street entertainment. This market is separate from the broader "Noël à Villejuif" program, which also includes the carousel in front of the town hall and the "Noël sur vos marchés" events held at the town's food markets.

Programme Villejuif Christmas Market 2026
The program for the 2026 Christmas market has not yet been released by the Villejuif town hall; it will be added as soon as it becomes available. For reference: in 2025, the market was held over a single weekend (Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th), distinct from the three-day "Noël sur vos marchés" events (December 19th–21st), which focused on the city's food markets rather than this chalet-style Christmas market. On the Saturday in 2025, a poetic duo and a Christmas choir performed in the morning, followed by a brass band parade in the afternoon; on Sunday, there was a costumed show in the morning, followed by a parade featuring music and circus arts in the afternoon.

By metro: line 7, Villejuif–Paul Vaillant-Couturier or Villejuif–Louis Aragon stations. By bus: RATP lines serving the center of Villejuif. By car: RN7 and RD126, parking available in the city center.
Traffic
Parking is prohibited for several days around the event on the Monoprix parking lot and neighboring streets during the assembly and dismantling of the chalets; traffic diversions are put in place, particularly for bus line 185.

The Villejuif Christmas Market: a weekend of chalets in the city center
Every December, Villejuif hosts its Christmas market in the heart of the town, between the Monoprix parking lot, Rue Georges-Le-Bigot, and Rue Jean-Jaurès. About twenty wooden chalets welcome vendors and associations for a festive weekend.

Weekend entertainment
A photo booth with Santa Claus is available for visitors. In 2025, Saturday morning featured the duo Les Messagères du Père Noël (storytelling, clowning, dance, and percussion) and the Si on chantait choir, followed in the afternoon by a parade of the Lutins Tingling Hiver on spring-loaded shoes, accompanied by a brass band and the Three Wise Men. On Sunday morning, the show Au Pays de Noël featured three costumed characters, music, confetti, and garlands; in the afternoon, the Noël enchanté parade combined music and circus arts.
Not to be confused with other "Noël à Villejuif" events
This Christmas market, with its wooden chalets, is distinct from other events organized by the city in December: the carousel installed in front of the town hall (from late November to early January) and "Noël sur vos marchés," a series of events spread over several days in late December at the town's three food markets (Léo-Lagrange, Eugène-Varlin, and Auguste-Delaune).
