Week of Urban Cultures is a must-attend event in the cultural life of Toulouse and the Haute-Garonne department, in Occitanie. Since its creation in 2015, this event has established itself as a benchmark for hip-hop, dance, street art, and music, attracting a loyal and curious audience each year.

Week of Urban Cultures — edition 2026
The Semaine des Cultures Urbaines returns for its 7th edition from May 26th to 31st, 2026, in Toulouse and throughout Haute-Garonne. Organized by the Conseil départemental de la Haute-Garonne, the event is entirely free.
On the program: 48 events in 18 communes of the department (25 public events and 23 cultural activities for specific audiences). Shows, concerts, workshops, introductions, demonstrations, battles, and jams highlight urban practices: urban dances (hip-hop, house dance, roller dance), beatbox, rap, slam, street art, graffiti and frescoes, skate, parkour, BMX, and freestyle football. The 2026 edition particularly explores the encounter between hip-hop and contemporary dance.
The 18 host communes: Auzeville-Tolosane, Bagnères-de-Luchon, Bessières, Blagnac, Fronton, La Salvetat-Saint-Gilles, Longages, L'Union, Martres-Tolosane, Pibrac, Ramonville-Saint-Agne, Revel, Rieumes, Roques-sur-Garonne, Saint-Gaudens, Seysses, Toulouse, and Villefranche-de-Lauragais.
The week concludes on Sunday, May 31st, with a hip-hop Block Party at the Esplanade / Espace Roguet in Toulouse (14h-19h). Some workshops require prior registration (limited places).
