Oenocultural season in the wine estates of Grand Pic Saint-Loup (Hérault)
The Œnoculturelles en Grand Pic Saint-Loup is a season of events combining art, culture, and oenotourism in the wine estates of the territory (Hérault, Occitanie). Managed by the Office de Tourisme du Grand Pic Saint-Loup, the event offers, from May to late September, exhibitions, live performances, dance, music, open-air cinema in the vineyards, sensory walks, and tastings in over thirty wine estates and cooperative cellars labeled « Vignobles & Découvertes ».
The Œnoculturelles en Grand Pic Saint-Loup is an oenocultural season created by the Office de Tourisme du Grand Pic Saint-Loup to foster dialogue between culture and wine in the region's wine estates. Straddling the Hérault and at the foot of the emblematic Pic Saint-Loup massif, the event invites emotion seekers, art lovers, and wine enthusiasts to explore the vineyard to the rhythm of exhibitions, live performances, open-air cinema screenings, danced walks, and original tastings.
The Office de Tourisme du Grand Pic Saint-Loup coordinates the program with over thirty wine estates, cooperative cellars, restaurateurs, guides, and accommodation providers gathered under the « Vignobles & Découvertes » label. All mobilized to promote year-round oenotourism, they offer over a hundred unique experiences throughout the season, across the 36 communes of the territory (Saint-Clément-de-Rivière, Saint-Martin-de-Londres, Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, Teyran, Le Triadou, Combaillaux, Cazevieille, Guzargues, Fontanès, etc.).
Each edition combines contemporary art exhibitions in cellars and tasting rooms, live performances (dance, theater, equestrian arts, performances), concerts, open-air cinema in the vineyards, guided sensory walks (Wines & Flavors, Wines & Astro, heritage walks), and unusual tastings where one tastes wines that have inspired artists. Groups are deliberately limited to preserve the quality of hospitality and exchange with winemakers and artists.
The Grand Pic Saint-Loup extends over 36 communes north of Montpellier, in a preserved landscape of vineyards, garrigue, and limestone reliefs dominated by the silhouette of the Pic Saint-Loup. This natural and heritage setting gives the Œnoculturelles a unique framework, where each event is experienced as a sensory immersion in the terroir.
3rd edition of the Œnoculturelles en Grand Pic Saint-Loup, from May 24 to September 27, 2026. New for 2026: the season is now divided into two periods, in spring and then in autumn, with around thirty wine estates involved in exhibitions, live shows, sensory walks, and tastings in the vineyards of Hérault.
The 3rd edition of Œnoculturelles en Grand Pic Saint-Loup takes place from Sunday, May 24, 2026 to Sunday, September 27, 2026 in around thirty wine estates and cooperative cellars in the region (Hérault, Occitanie).
For the first time, the season is structured into two distinct periods: a highlight in spring (late May to late June) and a second in autumn (September). This new organization better accommodates the rhythm of the winemakers and offers visitors experiences closer to the life of the vineyard, from flowering to harvest.
More than thirty wine estates, cooperative cellars, restaurateurs, guides, and accommodation providers are mobilized under the Vignobles & Découvertes label, to offer over one hundred unique experiences throughout the season. The program combines contemporary art exhibitions in the cellars, live shows (dance, equestrian arts, theatre), concerts, open-air cinema in the vineyards, guided sensory walks, and unusual tastings.
Each event is a sensory immersion in the terroir of Pic Saint-Loup, where you meet winemakers and artists, taste the wines that inspired the works, and discover the vineyard from a new angle: artistic, poetic, sometimes unexpected.
Throughout the season, the Tourist Office offers guided walks in small groups (maximum 15 people) with tasting: Wine & Astro (sky observation), heritage walks (glass gentlemen), terroir walks with a «tasting box» prepared by local restaurateurs.
