Festival of popular and urban cultures in Paris
Born in 2024, Yardland is the Parisian festival dedicated to popular and urban cultures. Organized by the Yard collective, it takes over the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes every summer for three days of an immersive 360° experience centered around six pillars: music, lifestyle, art, community, gastronomy, and sport. From rap to R&B, from afrobeats to electro, Yardland celebrates the creativity of contemporary urban scenes in a festive and inclusive atmosphere.
Launched in 2024 by the Yard collective, a leading media and community for popular and urban cultures in France, Yardland has immediately established itself as a major event on the Parisian festival calendar. From its very first edition, the festival has succeeded in bringing together a young and connected audience, eager for musical, artistic, and cultural discoveries.
Set on the exceptional site of the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes, in the 12th arrondissement, Yardland offers an ambitious program over three days that goes far beyond just music. The festival defines itself as a 360-degree experience centered around six founding pillars: music, lifestyle, art, community, food, and sport.
Yardland's program reflects the richness and diversity of contemporary popular cultures. Rap, R&B, afrobeats, dancehall, electro, amapiano, soul: the festival embraces all the musical currents that shape the soundtrack of new generations. Across several stages, international headliners share the spotlight with emerging talents from the French and international scene.
The festival brings together established artists and new discoveries, offering a unique showcase for creators who push the boundaries between musical genres. This demanding and cutting-edge programming is curated by the Yard editorial team, recognized for its expertise in urban cultures.
Yardland is not limited to music. The festival features a lifestyle village bringing together brands and creators who shape streetwear culture and urban fashion. Art installations related to popular cultures punctuate the festival-goers' journey, while a dedicated sports area offers tournaments and demonstrations.
Yardland's gastronomic offering celebrates the culinary diversity of urban cultures, with a selection of food trucks and stands representing global cuisines. Community spaces encourage encounters and exchanges, in the spirit of sharing that has characterized the Yard collective since its creation.
By creating Yardland, the Yard collective has filled a gap in the French festival landscape: that of a major festival dedicated to contemporary popular and urban cultures, at their intersection with fashion, art, and sport. The event targets a generation that no longer separates music from lifestyle, and seeks a complete and immersive cultural experience in a festival.
The 3rd edition of Yardland Festival will be held from July 3rd to 5th, 2026, at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes. The festival continues its expansion with an ever more ambitious program centered around popular cultures.
