From August 7 to 9, 2026, Chalet Brand in Liévin (62) hosts the new edition of the 48 Hours Country Retro, a free weekend dedicated to country and rockabilly music, line dancing, and a retro atmosphere. Live concerts every day, dance demonstrations and workshops, exhibition of vintage American vehicles, and a grand parade. Charitable event organized by the association Les Motards de l'Espoir de Liévin.
A Country and Retro Weekend in Liévin
For its 2026 edition, the festival expands and sets up a large open-air stage at Chalet Brand for live concerts, a dance floor of over 400 m², an exhibition of vintage American cars in a wooded setting with a 'guinguette' feel, vinyl DJ sets, and indoor workshops. Admission is free and the site has a camping area.

On the program: country and rockabilly concerts every day, line dancing workshops and demonstrations led by renowned choreographers, food and craft stalls, exhibition of custom motorcycles and vintage American vehicles, as well as a grand parade on Saturday afternoon. Location
The 48 Heures Country Rétro takes place at the Chalet Brand, a multi-purpose venue located in Liévin (62800), Pas-de-Calais. The site features an indoor space for dance workshops and an outdoor area with an open-air dance floor, concert stage, and vintage vehicle exhibition zone.
Access
- By car: From Lens (5 min), take the D58 towards Liévin. From Lille (40 min), take the A26 exit 6.1 then head towards Liévin. From Arras (20 min), take the A26 exit 6.1. From Béthune (20 min), take the D943 then head towards Liévin. Free parking on the Chalet Brand site, with sufficient capacity for all visitors.
- By train: Liévin station (TER line) or Lens station (TGV and TER, 5 km away). From Lens station, take the Tadao bus towards Liévin or a taxi. Lens station is connected to Paris in 1h10 by TGV.
Dates and times
The festival takes place every year on the second weekend of August, from Friday to Sunday. Concerts are held during the day and in the evening. Country dance workshops are scheduled over the three days with sessions for different levels (beginner to advanced).
Prices
Free admission. The event is organized by the association Motards de l'Espoir Liévin, whose mission is to raise funds to help children with disabilities. Visitors are invited to support the cause through voluntary donations and on-site purchases.
Country dance workshops
Six country dance instructors take turns over the three days to lead workshops open to all levels. Indoor workshops alternate with free dance sessions outdoors on the open-air dance floor, with music on CD. No prior registration is required; workshops are open to all festival participants.
Catering
On-site catering is available throughout the three days with dishes prepared by the association's volunteers. A refreshment stand offers cold and hot drinks. Proceeds from catering and the refreshment stand contribute to funding the association's charitable activities.
Vehicle exhibition
An exhibition of vintage and American vehicles is set up on the site for the entire duration of the festival, creating an authentic retro atmosphere that delights car enthusiasts.

Since 2023, the 48 Heures Country Rétro festival has brought together fans of country music, rockabilly, and retro culture every August at the Chalet Brand in Liévin, Pas-de-Calais.
