A Christmas in Royan transforms the city center into an enchanted village from early December to early January. Chalets, activities, rides, and shows spread over 4 hectares: Santa Claus's House and his elves, the mysterious Enchanted Garden, the Christmas train, concerts from the Royan Winter Show, and the famous pyrotechnic Enchanted Fires every Saturday.

A magical Christmas village

A Christmas in Royan is a major event of the holiday season in Charente-Maritime. The Christmas market covers approximately 4 hectares, from Place Charles de Gaulle to Esplanade Kerimel, creating a true enchanted village in the heart of the city.

Activities and attractions

Visitors discover Santa Claus's House and his elves, wander through the mysterious Enchanted Garden, and board the Christmas train for a ride along the Seudre estuary. Numerous chalets offer crafts, local gastronomy, and gift ideas.

Shows and concerts

Every Friday, the city organizes concerts for the Royan Winter Show. Saturdays are marked by the famous Enchanted Fires, pyrotechnic shows that light up the Royan sky. The inauguration in early December kicks off the season with illuminations and a concert.
