About Cabanes en Fête
Cabanes en Fête is a festive event that takes place every December at the oyster port of Andernos-les-Bains, on the Bassin d'Arcachon. The 45 oyster huts host chefs and artists, creating a unique gourmet and artistic trail. Oyster farmers from Andernos and winegrowers from Entre-deux-Mers offer seafood tapas and tastings, all crowned by a fireworks display over the Bassin.

Cabanes en Fête, the magic of December on the Bassin
Cabanes en Fête is a unique winter event that transforms the oyster port of Andernos-les-Bains into a place of gourmet and artistic festivities. Every December, the 45 oyster huts open their doors for an exceptional day.
Gastronomy and oysters
In each hut, a chef creates seafood tapas, while the oyster farmers from Andernos offer their fresh oysters accompanied by wines from Entre-deux-Mers. A unique gourmet trail along the Bassin d'Arcachon.
Art and music
Artists also take over the huts to exhibit their works and share their passion. Live music accompanies visitors throughout the day, creating a warm and festive atmosphere despite the winter season.
Fireworks
The day concludes with a fireworks display over the Bassin d'Arcachon, illuminating the huts and the waters of the Bassin in a magical atmosphere.
