The rock and festive festival of the Vendée bocage
Created in 2024 by the association Bédame Productions, À Tché Fest was born from a beautiful friendship story between six friends from Les Herbiers united by the desire to crystallize their common passion for parties and live music. The festival's name is a mischievous nod to the Vendée dialect: "à tché fête" means "what a party," a joyful invitation to gather every summer in the heart of the bocage.
The festival unfolds on the royal driveway of the Château de l'Étenduère, a remarkable site located at the gates of Les Herbiers. The restored vestiges of this 16th-century castle offer a setting that is both historic and bucolic, where the monumental stage—13 meters high and 22 meters wide—stands facing the audience in an exceptional green setting. The atmosphere skillfully blends the charm of Vendée heritage with the raw energy of rock.
Each edition of À Tché Fest offers two evenings with distinct musical colors. The first evening is generally dedicated to rock, punk, and energetic music, with bands like Tagada Jones, Les Fatals Picards, Celkilt, Black Bomb A, or Sidilarsen. The second evening opens up to a more pop and mainstream repertoire, with artists like Broken Back, Les Négresses Vertes, Silmarils, Ridsa, or Adèle Castillon.
This dual musical identity allows the festival to attract a varied audience: fans of pure rock and roll as well as families looking for a festive and accessible outing.
Every Saturday afternoon, À Tché Fest opens its doors for free for La Kermesse, a space dedicated to families and children. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the site offers inflatable structures, pony rides, face painting, fun and sports games, creative workshops, and a local craft market. This event within the event attracted nearly 1,500 visitors during the last edition, confirming the festival's family-friendly appeal.
With over 250 volunteers mobilized each evening, À Tché Fest embodies the Vendée associative spirit. The Bédame Productions association, chaired by Grégory Lozach, brings together about twenty active members and relies on the support of the City of Les Herbiers and numerous local partners. The festival contributes to the cultural influence of the Vendée bocage and affirms Les Herbiers as a land of festivals.
À Tché Fest returns for its 3rd edition on July 3rd and 4th, 2026 at the Château de l'Étenduère. The festival is growing with an impressive lineup that confirms its ambition to become a benchmark for contemporary music in Vendée.
Friday, July 3rd promises to be explosive with Tagada Jones, legends of French punk rock, Sidilarsen, Black Bomb A, No One Is Innocent, and Heads Up — an evening of 100% energy and decibels.
Saturday, July 4th promises a festive and eclectic evening with Les Négresses Vertes, icons of French alternative chanson, Silmarils, Têtes Raides, Michel Mercury, Une Pâte dans l'Ô, and Les Carreleurs Américains. The free Kermesse during the day will return with its family activities.
