The N'Joy Festival: The End-of-Summer Party in Bocage Vendéen
Born from the passion of a group of young people from Vendée united around Rodolphe Dahais, The N'Joy Festival is the brainchild of the association The N'Joy, created on May 14, 2016, in Sèvremont. Initially focused on organizing electro evenings, the association gradually expanded its scope to offer a true contemporary music festival, which has become a must-attend event for the start of the school year in Vendée. With around forty active members, The N'Joy embodies the associative and volunteer energy of the Bocage Vendéen.
A New Setting for Growth
After several editions at the Parc des Lavandières, a bucolic site in the heart of Sèvremont, the festival took a turn in 2025 by moving to the Complexe du Guittion in Châtelliers-Châteaumur. This move, driven by the desire to preserve the natural ecosystem of the park and to support the event's growth, offers the festival more suitable infrastructure: free and supervised parking, better accessibility for people with reduced mobility, and a stage area capable of accommodating an ever-increasing audience.
An Eclectic Program on Two Stages
The strength of the N'Joy Festival lies in its musical diversity. Each edition features a lineup mixing festive rock, rap, pop, world music, and electro, with the ambition to satisfy all tastes. In 2024, the festival hosted Black M, a key figure in French rap, alongside the pop-rock trio Léonie, international DJ Marnik, French chanson group Sans Prétention, and DJ Lucien Dahais accompanied by his live drummer. The 2025 edition confirmed this upward trend with 47TER, a pop-rap trio with unifying hits, Luiza, a rising star of French variety music, the Vendée-based band Strollad and its wild festive rock, DJ-producer Yofunders followed by over 1.8 million subscribers, and Sandy Sax for a finale mixing saxophone, electro, and house.
A Family and Responsible Spirit
The N'Joy Festival is distinguished by its environmental commitment. The change of venue in 2025 reflects this ecological awareness: "Our commitment to environmental protection is at the heart of our approach," affirm the organizers. The event remains accessible to families with free admission for children under 12, varied on-site catering (croque-monsieur, burgers, vegetarian sandwiches, fries), and a ticket-based consumption system accepting cash and bank cards. A secure camping area allows festival-goers from afar to extend the evening with peace of mind.
Heading Towards the 10th Anniversary in 2026
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the association, the 2026 edition takes on an unprecedented dimension with a two-day format on September 4th and 5th. An ambitious program and completely renewed decorations are announced for this exceptional edition, which will mark a major milestone in the festival's history.
