Three evenings of acoustic emotion in the heart of Vendée
Since 2010, the Acoustic Festival has transformed the Idonnière hall in Le Poiré-sur-Vie into an exceptional musical setting. For three intense evenings, national and international renowned artists perform in a hall renowned for its remarkable acoustics. Folk, chanson, pop, soul, or world music: the eclectic and demanding programming favors proximity with the public and shared emotion, driven by 150 passionate volunteers.
Born in 2010 from the passion of a group of volunteers led by Jérôme Aubret, the Acoustic Festival has established itself in just a few editions as a must-see cultural event in Vendée. Every year in March, the Idonnière hall in Le Poiré-sur-Vie opens its doors for three exceptional evenings, bringing together top artists in an intimate and warm setting.
The Idonnière hall is unanimously praised for the exceptional quality of its acoustics. It is this particularity that inspired the very name of the festival and makes it unique. Unlike large open-air festivals, the Acoustic Festival focuses on proximity between artists and the public, creating unique moments of sharing where every musical nuance takes on a special dimension.
Over its editions, the festival has hosted major artists from the French and international scene: Olivia Ruiz, Imany, Selah Sue, Keziah Jones, Electro Deluxe, Fink, Ibrahim Maalouf, Benjamin Biolay, Stephan Eicher, and Laurent Voulzy. The programming spans genres with a preference for:
With a capacity of 7,500 festival-goers over the entire weekend, the Acoustic Festival cultivates its identity as a human-sized festival. Each edition is supported by around 150 volunteers mobilized daily to ensure reception, catering, and logistics. This associative commitment gives the event a friendly and authentic atmosphere, far from the commercial circuits of major festivals.
Located in Le Poiré-sur-Vie, a dynamic town about fifteen kilometers from La Roche-sur-Yon, the festival actively participates in the cultural influence of the Vendée region. It attracts a loyal audience each year from all over the Grand Ouest, seduced by the artistic quality and the unique atmosphere of this spring event.
The 16th edition of the Acoustic Festival will take place from March 20 to 22, 2026, at the Idonnière hall in Le Poiré-sur-Vie. Three exceptional evenings with Imany, Selah Sue, Deluxe, and many other artists.
