About Africa del Sol

Held at La Clé del Sol, a community hub based on a farm in Finestret, Africa del Sol brings together percussion, balafon, and Afro-fusion every year for an evening of live concerts and DJ sets. The organizing association rounds out the event with creative workshops and bouncy castles for children, along with an on-site bar and organic vegetarian snacks.

Africa del Sol — edition 2026

The 4th edition of Africa del Sol features Awa Guindo and her Mandinka fusion, Balaphonik Sound System with their unique blend of tradition, electro, and balafon, and the vibrant African percussion of Bira Faye & Co. The evening kicks off with La Quête du Râle, presenting a prehistoric clown show accompanied by the didgeridoo, before DJ Bobun brings the night to a close.
