Your region's electro festival
The AMP Festival (August Music Party) is an electronic music festival created in 2023 by the association La Jeunesse Hirsonnaise in Hirson, Aisne. Over two days and two stages, the festival offers a lineup mixing electro, hardstyle, techno, and current music, with headliners like Malaa or Hatik. With nearly 1,500 festival-goers by its second edition, AMP is establishing itself as a late-summer event in the Hauts-de-France region.
AMP Festival, an acronym for August Music Party, is an electronic music festival held annually in late August in Hirson, Aisne (02). Driven by the association La Jeunesse Hirsonnaise, founded in October 2022 by Enzo Merelle, a DJ with a degree from UPCA Poitiers, and his close friends, the festival was born from a simple ambition: to offer the inhabitants of a region often far from major cultural scenes a quality musical celebration that is both accessible and ambitious.
It all began in February 2023, with a first evening organized at the Salle de l'Eden in Hirson, which immediately won over the local public. Building on this success, the founders followed up with a FIFA tournament and a "Line-up" evening on November 4, 2023, at the Salle Carpentier, bringing together regional DJs. These events laid the foundation for what would become the AMP Festival.
The festival unfolds across two stages and hosts fifteen to twenty artists over two days. The lineup heavily features electro, hardstyle, techno, and current music, with a mix of national headliners and emerging regional talents. In 2024, the audience enjoyed sets from Hatik, Pat B, Flash, Lumberjack, XNSO, Tranceball, and Dark-E. The 2025 edition marked a milestone with Malaa as the headliner and 23 artists programmed, including Oriska, Toxic Twins, K-Style, and the duo Crazy We R celebrating their 10th anniversary on stage.
Since the 2024 edition, the festival has been held at the Salle Michel Carpentier, located at 90, rue du Petit Taillis in Hirson. This versatile space offers an ideal setting for the festival's two stages. Hirson is located 45 minutes from Charleville-Mézières and about an hour from Charleroi (Belgium), Reims, and Maubeuge, making it an attractive event beyond the borders of the Aisne department.
By its second edition in 2024, the AMP Festival attracted nearly 1,500 festival-goers over two days, confirming the public's enthusiasm for this event. The association benefits from the support of Crédit Mutuel, the municipality of Hirson, and several local businesses. The AMP Winter, a winter event launched in January 2026, demonstrates the association's vitality and its commitment to keeping the Hirson music scene alive throughout the year.
The 4th edition of the AMP Festival is expected in late August 2026 at the Salle Michel Carpentier in Hirson. The association La Jeunesse Hirsonnaise, which already organized an AMP Winter in January 2026, is set to continue the festival's growth with an ambitious electro lineup.
The 4th edition of the AMP Festival is expected to take place in late August 2026 at the Salle Michel Carpentier in Hirson. Following the success of previous editions and the organization of an AMP Winter on January 24 and 25, 2026, the association La Jeunesse Hirsonnaise confirms its commitment to keeping the electro scene alive in the Aisne region throughout the year.
