Anjou'R & Nuit: Running and Walking in the Anjou Vineyards Under the Stars

Launched in October 2023, Anjou'R & Nuit is a unique event in Anjou that offers the chance to discover the Coteaux du Layon vineyards in unprecedented conditions: at dusk and at dawn. Organized by the Anjou Vignoble et Villages Tourist Office, this autumn gathering takes place in the town of Bellevigne-en-Layon, an exceptional wine-growing area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site as part of the Loire Valley.

Trails and Hikes Between Vines and Heritage

The event offers a varied and accessible sports program: gourmet trails of 12 km in semi-night and 24 km at sunrise, as well as walking tours of 12 km at night and 15 km in the morning. The routes wind through vineyards, hillsides, charming villages, and heritage sites of the Layon, offering spectacular viewpoints over the Anjou vineyards bathed in low-lying or starry light.

Gastronomy, Wine, and Heritage

Anjou'R & Nuit is not just about sports. Each route is punctuated by gourmet refreshment stops offering local Anjou products and Layon wines. Cultural activities line the routes: heritage discoveries, concerts, a murder mystery at the Château de Fesles, electric scooter rides through the vineyards, and tasting circuits in troglodyte cellars. An Anjou'R & Nuit village welcomes the public with a bar, food, and entertainment.

The walking routes do not require any particular physical condition, and the festive and warm atmosphere invites you to share a friendly moment in the heart of nature.
