Two nights of concerts at the Complexe de la Prée
On Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, the Complexe de la Prée, located on Route de la Prée in Mouzillon, will host the 11th edition of Une Nuit en Muscadet. This is the third time the festival has been held indoors: after years of open-air events at the Prée site, the Les Conscrits de la 10 association opted for an indoor, more intimate format that highlights both the music and local wines. Doors open at 6:30 PM each night, and the festival runs until 1:50 AM. Entry closes at 10:30 PM, and all exits from the site are final.
Eight bands over two nights
The 2026 lineup features eight acts, four per night. Friday, October 2nd, brings together Die Morg, La Phaze, Les Wampas, and Princesses Leya. Saturday, October 3rd, features Vilebrequin, Digresk, Strollad, and Dynamite Shakers. The vibe remains consistent with previous years: rock, punk, and festive music, featuring bands that tour across Western France alongside established names from the French alternative scene like Les Wampas and La Phaze. Strollad, a ska band formed in 1998, and Digresk, known for their danceable tunes, round out a Saturday night dedicated to dancing and celebration.
Music, Muscadet, and the Nantes terroir
The festival's hallmark remains the blend of live music and viticulture. Throughout both nights, Muscadet bars will offer local vintages alongside a selection of beers, and winemakers from the Nantes vineyard area will be on hand to meet festival-goers and share their wines. Homemade food is prepared and served on-site for the duration of the festival. The organizers also promise a few surprises throughout the two nights.

Une Nuit en Muscadet: the festival of music and wine in Mouzillon
Nestled in the heart of the Nantes vineyard, the festival Une Nuit en Muscadet was born in 2012 in Mouzillon, a small wine-growing town in Loire-Atlantique. Supported by the association Les Conscrits de la 10, it follows in the footsteps of the Nuit du Muscadet, a popular event that brought together music and wine lovers for 17 editions in the 1990s. The organizers' ambition: to revive this festive spirit by combining quality concerts with the promotion of the Nantes region's riches.
Music, wine, and gastronomy: a festive cocktail
The uniqueness of Une Nuit en Muscadet lies in its blend of live music and wine culture. Each edition offers an eclectic musical program mixing rock, punk, French variety, festive songs, and world music. Festival-goers can discover the concerts while tasting Muscadet wines served by passionate winemakers from the Nantes vineyard, accompanied by local gastronomic products.
Since its creation, the festival has hosted many renowned artists from the French and international scene: Elmer Food Beat, Tri Yann, Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs, Pierpoljak, Les Wampas, Patrice, Patrick Sébastien, Axel Bauer, Massilia Sound System, Sidilarsen, Les Fatals Picards, Merzhin, Soldat Louis, and Neg Marrons.
From the open-air theater to the indoor venue: an intentional evolution
During its early editions, the festival was held outdoors at the aire de la Prée site, an open-air theater inaugurated in 2018, where it could gather up to 5,000 spectators for an evening in early July. The format featured eight bands on two stages, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., in a rustic and relaxed atmosphere.
After the interruption due to the health crisis of 2020, the organizers opted for a renewed format: an indoor event, over two days, with a capacity limited to 1,500 people per evening. This new format, more intimate and warm, has allowed the festival to reinvent itself while retaining its musical and wine identity. The programming has also shifted towards a more rock and punk orientation, while maintaining a diversity of influences.
Strong territorial roots
Organized within the Sèvre et Loire community of municipalities, Une Nuit en Muscadet is a true ambassador of the local wine heritage. The festival highlights Muscadet winemakers and promotes the appellation through tastings, meetings with producers, and on-site catering that showcases local products. It is a unifying, intergenerational event that contributes to the cultural and tourist radiance of Mouzillon and the Nantes vineyard.
