Argentinian Tango in the Heart of Gascony

The Auch Argentinian Tango Festival is a must-attend event for tango lovers and enthusiasts in the Southwest of France. Organized with dedication by the association Tango del Campo, it offers three days of complete immersion in Argentinian tango culture, creating an unexpected and moving bridge between Buenos Aires and Gascony.

Milongas and Dance Concerts

The festival features five milongas, including two dance concerts with a live orchestra. Dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, gather to dance tango, milonga, and Argentine waltz in an atmosphere that is both warm and elegant. The dance halls, carefully decorated, recreate the atmosphere of traditional Porteño milongas.

Tango Workshops and Introductions

Tango workshops are offered for all levels, from beginners taking their first steps to advanced dancers perfecting their technique. Renowned international maestros share their experience, passion, and expertise with participants, in a spirit of generosity and transmission.

A Vibrant and Engaged Tango Community

Beyond the festival, the Tango del Campo association organizes monthly milongas in Ornézan and helps keep the Gers tango community alive throughout the year. Regular practices, themed evenings, and introductory workshops allow dancers to progress and share their passion for this dance born in the working-class neighborhoods of Buenos Aires.
