About Book and Arts Festival

The Book and Arts Festival brings together authors from ADER (Regional Writers' Association) and painters from the Courants d'Art collective in Capdenac-Gare. This one-day event features writers signing novels, thrillers, children's books, comics, poetry, history, and essays, while artists showcase and sell their work in the same space. Admission is free.

Book and Arts Festival — edition 2026

For its second edition, the Fête du livre et des arts brings together around forty authors from ADER, hailing from Aveyron, the Lot, and other parts of Occitanie, alongside a dozen painters from the Courants d'Art association. Book signings and the exhibition will run throughout the day, with a talk on permaculture scheduled for the mid-afternoon.

Programme Book and Arts Festival 2026

Sunday, October 11th, 2026

  • 10 am – 6 pm — Book signings with around forty ADER authors (novels, thrillers, children's literature, comics, poetry, history, and essays)
  • 10 am – 6 pm — Exhibition and sale featuring a dozen painters from the Courants d'Art association
  • 3 pm — Permaculture lecture by a field specialist

Program published by the Aveyron Tourist Office. Free admission.
