The Cadours Purple Garlic Festival celebrates AOP purple garlic, the pride of the Hauts Tolosans region, on the last weekend of August 2026 in the town center of Cadours (Haute-Garonne).
Every year, on the last weekend of August, Cadours, the capital of purple garlic, honors its emblematic product, which has been AOP-certified since 2016. The festival brings together local producers, artisans, and gastronomic brotherhoods from all over the Grand Sud.
The usual program includes: a market for producers and artisans, an exhibition and competition of purple garlic braids, garlic processing demonstrations, a parade of brotherhoods, a fire show on Saturday evening, musical entertainment, on-site catering, and the traditional “Bodeg'ail” to kick off the festivities.
Admission to the event is free. The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be communicated by the organizer and the Hauts Tolosans Tourist Office closer to the event.
